The Second Chance Aftelier Haute Claire Giveaway!

Ladies, gentlemen and fellow perfumoholics!

Recently, in connection with my review of the truly stupendous Aftelier ‘Haute Claire’, I held a draw on SLS for a 5 ml sample sent directly from Aftelier, so one lucky reader could experience for him or herself the amount of detail and love Mandy Aftel puts into her perfumes as well as her packaging.

The winner, however, never responded and as that winner also commented anonymously, I had no way to contact this person through email.

Therefore, I’ll happily hold a SECOND DRAW…which is to say:

One of you can still win and try the wonder that is Haute Claire for yourself!

So people, leave a comment on your favorite green…perfume, tree, plant, flower…by midnight, Saturday August 6th CET for your chance to win! The winner will be determined by random.org by Saturday morning CET and announced later that day. And please, if you can, don’t be anonymous! We don’t bite…much! 😉

  1. My favourite green of all time? I have many. Right now it is basil! I just love to stick my nose in those plants 🙂 I would love to try a sample from Mandy Aftel. Wish her perfume was available here in the Netherlands! Keep the good work up 🙂

  2. My favourite green thing at the moment are nettles. They grow around my house and I love the way they smell when the rain pours down hard on them, maybe crushing them a little bit, so their sharp green sap gets to mingle with the clear post-rain air.

I've just started exploring Mandys creations and love them so far. I desperately want to win the Haute Claire 🙂

  3. Ok, here goes my last attempt to win this perfume: I haven't ever entered in so many draws for the same perfume – and I'm not even sure if it's something I'll like (well, if I do win it and it doesn't work on me I can always have the next draw 😉 ).

My favorite green perfume is Chanel No.19.

  4. Yay! Another chance to win this amazing sounding perfume. I have to say that recently Ayala sent a sample of Orcas to me and with it's lovely Seaweed note and fresh overall feel, it is now my favorite green perfume.Thank you for the generous giveaway!

  5. OOH..nice. I happen to love green:) I have a stunning OPI for Sephora green nailpolish (that has no name on it…grrrr). I adore Chanel No 19 parfum for a green perfume too.

  6. Favorite green: Winter in the California mixed oak and madrone forests after plenty of rain. Haute claire is fine stuff. I'd love to win the sample. Thank you.

  7. I'm still not sure as to what qualifies as a green perfume… Maybe the ones I consider as such would be better categorized as citruses or florals, but in my small collection I really like Annick Goutal's Ninféo Mio and Eau de Camille.

And I love so many green herbs. I'd say cilantro is my favorite, just because it's used in so many culinary traditions I love: Mexican, Indian, Thai…

  8. favourite green- Chanel 19 and many others like Ninfeo mio
I love green saps when it snows
please, enter me the draw- Haute Claire gets so many wonderful reviews
    thank you

  9. Right now my LEAST favorite green is the green with envy I was over all these Haute Claire winners! 🙂

Kidding. I wish them all many happy returns with their winnings.

My favorite green is also Chanel 19.

  10. My favorite green perfume is Ormonde Jayne's “Ormonde Woman”- a lush, dark green- and I would love to be in the drawing for Atelier Haute Claire.

  11. ok… take 2….. something was going wrong with my posting…. for a greenish perfume I love Aftel's Orchid- bright and green with it's opening of Shiso. I'd love to be entered in the draw (again).

  12. Not sure if it qualifies as a green scent, but I love the smell of tomato plants. It's so instantly recognizable, and nothing else smells the same.

  13. Current favorite green will have to be Strange Invisible Perfumes Urban Lily. It is my favorite LOTV scent, as it has the greenery and creaminess of the whole plant and flower, stems and all!

Agreeing with Undina, that I don't think I've ever entered so many contests to win the same scent, so here's hoping this is the lucky time. 🙂

  14. One of my favourite greens is the fresh young leaves on trees in spring, set against a clear blue sky – it would be great to have a perfume that recreates that feeling.
Thanks for the chance, Aftelier perfumes are very special,
    Maggie

  15. Favorite green color is the dusty olive green of Australian Pines under a stormy Florida sky. Favorite green smell is: gosh, I can't pick just one. No 19, vintage Vent Vert, OJ Woman, SSS Wood Violet, original Grey Flannel, they're all good.

  16. Ooh, I love second chances! My favorite green at the moment is vintage Vent Vert. Other than perfume, my favorite green is tomato leaves, the scent of which is so evocative of the summers of my childhood.

  17. Oh, word to Janet on the green smell of tomato plants. Reminds me so much of my mother's garden.

My favorite green scent is the luscious greenitude of Puredistance Antonia.

  18. Thank you, ALL of you, for entering the draw and also for your beautiful answers to my questions. You're ALL in. Zboudreaux, since you accidentally entered twice and then deleted your first comment, you only have one entry! 😉

My favorite green perfume of all time: Original Vent Vert in parfum. Today…also…Puredistance Antonia, Jacomo Silences, no. 19, Atelier Trèfle Pur, my small decant of vintage Dioressence, Balmain Ivoire, DSH Vert Pour Madame and Serge Lutens Chêne. Help me someone, I love them all!

Favortite color greens: Emerald and peridot. Can 't decide!

Favorite green natural smells: Poplar buds, galbanum, linden blossom, the ponderosa pines of New Mexico…
